Above Deck Yacht Charters

Be the one who planned the perfect vacation.

At Above Deck, we believe that creating legendary experiences requires more than just booking a yacht; it requires industry insiders who know which boats, crews, and hidden gems will make your group say,

“how did you even find this place?” As former captains and yacht chefs, we’ve spent years discovering what transforms a good vacation into the story your group tells for decades. We hand-select each boat and personally vet every crew.

The result?

You look like a yacht expert, your group has the time of their lives, and you become the person who “always knows how to make things special.”

Born out of a love for the ocean and a passion for unbeatable moments, we know what a great vacation looks like.

From initial contact to our return trip home Raph was there with us every step of the way to help with logistics, questions and checking in halfway through the charter to make sure everything was going well . Kayachtic is a beautiful yacht and was well appointed. Xander and Taylor were absolutely the best crew we could have asked for. The sailing, food and drinks were incredible. They took pride in their craft and were very knowledgeable and professional. We had lots of laughs together and made beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Jake was wonderful to work with from the beginning when trying to find the right boat to meet our needs within our budget to helping plan activities and restaurants during our trip. The best part was connecting us with the best captain and chef in the business! Liam and Kelsey really made the experience. Liam knew exactly what route we should take based on weather and even seemed to avoid crowds and cruise ships. He took time to answer questions and even gave a sailing lesson! Kelsey's food exceeded all expectations! Three amazing meals a day WITH desserts... we were never hungry! She truly has a gift! The extra touches such as the waterproof bags, the daily whiteboard schedules, the games and Elysian Yetis ;) made it even more special. We all felt like we left with 2 more friends. Thank you Jake and Liam and Kelsey for making this a trip of a lifetime!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just had the best trip using Above Deck Sailing! Jake Lockwood helped us find yacht Heavenly for remarkable trip in USVI and BVI. The crew of Heavenly, Eric and Madison were top notch! From the onset, Jake was incredibly responsive and worked hard to make our trip a reality. And it didn’t stop there, Jake’s communication continued during the charter and even after we returned. We will certainly use Above Deck for our next trip and hopefully aboard Heavenly with Eric and Madison. It was as close to perfect as you can get! Great job to all involved.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a DREAM of a trip we had thanks to the Kayachtic team (Taylor & Xander) and Above Deck leader Raph! Honestly I can't remember how exactly I landed on Raph/ADS - probably through some google searching - but he was the MOST responsive and straightforward with my incessant emails and requests. He helped us find the right boat and crew based on our criteria and budget. He was NOT wrong. Taylor and Xander were amazing - they made our college friends group 40th birthday celebration trip the trip of a lifetime. The boat is in incredible shape (2024 vintage) and is so well kept. The crew was so so professional and kind and responsive to our every need - even predicting what we would want/need next! They were flexible in our itinerary and very go with the flow. The incredibleness of the food was totally unexpected by me and most of our group - so utterly beautiful and fresh and fully of amazing tastes! Taylor is very talented with her trade. Xander rocked on the cocktails and captaining our wild group ;-) Can't wait to book our next trip via Raph/ADS - but the bar is very high based on a great experience with Kayachtic / Taylor&Xander. Thanks so much!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had land accommodations for our USVI Valentines getaway and knew sea accommodations would be wayyy more romantic and found Above Deck and challenged Ryan to find me a yacht in my budget for the busiest week in the USVI’s calendar. He went to work and didn’t give up till he found me Sea Magik. Communication was top notch, the process was easy and me and my Valentine had a week to go down in the books like never before. Thanks Ryan for making my dream come true. Will use Above Deck again for sure. Sail on sailors!!

Here's what some of our past sailors have said.

This trip was absolutely incredible! I wouldn’t change a thing and Above Deck was there every step of the way! We worked with Above Deck to match us with Captain Xander and Chef Taylor on KaYachtic! Each recommendation felt thoughtful and tailored—we could see how much they cared about our vacation. I can’t imagine a better crew. Taylor’s food and Xander’s sailing knowledge were both 5 star! We also appreciated how organized everything was. They think of every detail! We will be back for sure! Absolutely unforgettable trip!

We just returned from incredible catamaran trip in Croatia, and can’t recommend Above Deck highly enough! The trip exceeded expectations! Above Deck was fantastic—took care of every detail, answered all our questions and made planning easy and stress-free! The trip itself was a perfect mix of fun in the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, and Croatian culture with winding cobblestone streets, cute shops and cozy restaurants. Above Deck arranged a local Croatian captain with deep knowledge of the area and also an on-board chef made it an actual vacation for me, the mom 🙂

Above Deck was a fantastic resource. This was our first charter so we had a ton of questions ahead of time. Our broker was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and patient, making the pre-trip planning a breeze. HUGE shout out to the Allure and Crew (Captain Adam, Kostas and Stathis) for an absolutely unforgettable trip!

Rebecca, BVI, '25 -

Their attentiveness to our needs allowed them to present a variety of options and ideas that met all our preferences. Thanks a lot for consistently going above and beyond for our group! We genuinely appreciate your dedication and support!

Above Deck Sailing exceeded our every expectation in the BVIs, going "Above" and beyond in every facet of our charter experience. From the itinerary to the camaraderie, the captain made an immediate connection with us, made us laugh, inspired us to maximize every adventure (which we definitely did) and showed exemplary leadership skills keeping us organized and having fun every minute of the day. There was not a single detail overlooked during our week.

We have used Above Deck twice now in the USVI and Croatia. Each trip they arranged for us was flawless. The boat and crew were epic and exactly as pictured, the itineraries just what we wanted, and the food and drink were delicious. The booking contacts communicate well and everything was also arranged perfectly. We would not hesitate to use them anywhere around the world!

- Sam. Greece '23 -

Above Deck Sailing was the experience of a lifetime. The crew was very polite and accommodating. They took us to numerous bays, bars, snorkeling spots, restaurants, and perfect drone flying spots throughout the week. The food was amazing! I highly highly recommend them. We will definitely be going again in the coming years. Thanks Above Deck Sailing!

- Charlie. Greece '23 -

Spectacular! We were treated to one of the best holidays I’ve ever had, truly unique. The Saronic islands were home for a week long trip, guided by our trusted skipper, Peter. Above deck made sure the entire trip was a dream. Definitely will be booking with them again.
